Interestingly, it appears Zhai did not wear the Shenzhou VII mission patch on his Feitian suit. He wore the Chinese flag on his left shoulder: ...and this patch on his right shoulder: Liu did wear the Shenzhou VII patch on his Orlan's right shoulder: It is possible that Zhai had the mission patch under his display and control module (DCM), but I haven't seen imagery to suggest that. There were a couple of scenes on the broadcast showing the back side of his backpack with the patch in the middle of his backpack. Like you I don't know whether he may have a duplicate of the patch on his chest.Bill IP: Logged |

Here are the best views of Zhai's PLSS that I could find among the available video: The patch sewn to the upper right does appear to be the mission patch. The patch on the left might be the program patch. IP: Logged |

Does anyone have a clear (not fuzzy) photo of the Shenzhou 7 cloth patch? I collect patch images as a weekend hobby, any help would be greatly appreciated!IP: Logged |

I'm trying to find a clearest image of the patch to finalize it's artwork. I need to know what Earth's zone is on it (Beijing's nearest?) and a better view of the taikonaut. When I'll get them I will send the image patch to you.Jorge. IP: Logged |

Just a friendly question - does anyone have a clear (not fuzzy) photo of the Shenzhou 7 cloth patch? It seems that this patch is rapidly being forgotten as even the Chinese don't seem to care much about this piece of history - they don't even have a sharp photo of it! Thanks in advance for anybody's help!IP: Logged |

Stewart Aviation out of England said they may make the Shenzhou 7 patch if they can get a good photo or the art work of the patch. Does anyone have anything good for them to use? If so please e-mail it to me off list. They are good to deal with. Mike Z IP: Logged |

Interesting, but if only there was a hires close-up... Would Stewart also be interested in making an accurate repro of the Shenzhou 6 patch? The one available is riddled with mistakes...IP: Logged |

I cannot remember where I got mine. It was either from Stewart Aviation or Randy Hunt. I'll e-mail Stewart Aviation to see if they made them or if they're interested in making the Shenzhou-6 patch or badge as they call them.Mike IP: Logged |

I have both, Randy's and Stewart's. The first one has a mistake on the face of the blue taikonaut. The Stewart's, smaller, had a mistake in the second chinese letter (it is the one shown on spacepatches.nl as "The Randy Hunt version", but it is not Randy's, it is Stewart's) Jorge.IP: Logged |

One of the three spacesuits of SZ7 is currently at display at the Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution in Beijing. Does anyone here know anyone in Beijing who would be willing to make a close-up photo of the mission patch on that suit?Cheers, Luc IP: Logged |

I put in a request with the Defense Attache Office at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing. The DAO at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow was of considerable help to me over the years when I made similar requests. Perhaps lightning will strike twice! In the meanwhile, we should explore all available options.IP: Logged |

What Spacefacts means, is: THIS artwork of THE patch was made by Jorge. Jorge of course did not do the original artwork for the Shenzhou-7. This drawing is a reconstruction based on the best pictures available.IP: Logged |
