I saw this on Facebook, 2dreamers, a new brand with 1:9 space series figures. Here are the first two.

Space Adventurer 1
Resin bust 1/9 for assembly and painting

  • 3 resin parts
  • photoetched parts
  • mask - stencil for sign airbrushing
  • fine parts and supplemets
  • brochure, sticker

Space Adventurer 2

I wish I had the figure painting skills to do these justice. One question though: does the Vostok helmet really split as shown on the model? I've never seen a photo of the suit with the helmet removed, and Googling just now didn't find any photos of the helmet by itself either.

This figure screams for Stephen Nichols figure painting skills!

The split helmet function has only to do with the easy to cast it and paint.

Thank you. That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure.

In 1/9 scale, 6 feet is 8 inches, so I would estimate about 3.5 inches tall.

I wonder what type of support they have, since there's no visible support in any of the photos.

If it was me, I'd just pin them through the bottom. I suspect whoever took the photos did that, and the pin extends through the paper(?) that's the background into something solid.
