I would be interested in hearing some feedback on this... I am skeptical regarding paper models. |

Yes, those look amazing. I've also been dubious of paper models... mainly because they can't really solve compound curves. The Apollo LM, however, would seem an ideal subject for this medium. |

I've worked on Dave's products. They're actually a lot of fun. Have a lot of Elmer's on hand - and you may want a supply of dowel's for added support, but his designs hold up very well and they're on heavy weight card stock. If you want something heavier, you can always glue on another layer. You need a steady hand and a very sharp set of knife blades. |

The DSKY on the website looks like a work of art! Amazing considering they are paper. |

I've just come across the Edu-Craft heavy paper 1:32 LM model. It looks interesting and quite detailed. Anyone have experience or comments on it?Editor's note: Threads merged. |

I'm currently working on the DSKY. It is a complex, well-engineered model. Assembly thus far is straightforward. Patience is required to get a proper fit. This will also take a while, because there is a lot there. So far, I am very pleased. |

Does anybody have any experience/advice building the EduCraft Diversions 1:32 heavy paper Apollo 11 LM-5? Id love to build one (I worked on the real LM-5 back in 1968) but I HATE painting. Since this kit doesn't require any, and it looks pretty detailed, I thought I'd give it a try. |

I just bought this kit. It's pretty intense. I'm not sure when I'll have the time to build it. |

Is anybody here familiar with making paper models? I'm willing to pay someone to complete this. I want to use it in my teaching presentations. You can email me directly at teachspace@aol.com.
