Surprising indeed. The Flying Mule's packing has always been top-notch for my orders. But maybe it's because I'm overseas- and I think they do check for defects before shipping (phew, I wouldn't want to return anything to California!). |

Well, at least we know it's not a trend...my XB-70A arrived today unscathed.Great model, by the way. Even in 1:200 scale, the proportion of the cockpit windows to the rest of the aircraft conveys how huge the Valkyrie was. So happy I finally have one on my shelf. |

Good news. Several new Dragon Wings models arrived in Modelzone (Portsmouth U.K.) shop today, including Columbia and Challenger. Unfortunately they had to return Challenger, since the ET was in two pieces! Columbia (which I bought) was fine. |

In two pieces? They forgot to glue it into one? |

The exact same thing happened to my Challenger model, so clearly this was a Dragon QC problem. Flying Mule certainly wouldn't have shipped it that way, and the packing was undamaged. |

I just received my Discovery today with the same problem, ET had come unglued and the SRBs were flopping around in the box. I toyed with returning it, but my tube of super glue was nearby, so I glued it back together and trussed it up like a Thanksgiving turkey. I figure if my DIY repairs don't work, I can always return it later.I also had to take a Sharpie to a couple of spots on the orbiter's TPS. I don't know what's more disappointing, Dragon's apparent poor quality control, or the place I bought it from not noticing that it was in pieces when the prepared the order for shipping. |

I already bought Challenger, Columbia, Discovery and Atlantis. They're very nice but since i just found out about the Discovery with crawler transporter I'm going to be getting another Discovery with that one. I wish they would just sell separate stacks/orbiters. |

The other day I ordered Discovery on eBay and got an email from the seller saying it was broken. Luckily he didn't send it broken, he's ordering another to send me but I can imagine some people aren't that honest. |
