Would like to know as much about the Ryan Lunar Module Landing Radar lucite display. Can you explain, cordwood circuitry and any other info on the display itself? Thanks! |

Another one from the X-33 program and a slightly different Owens Corning Apollo 11 presentation, with the Beta cloth fully trimmed. |

Anyone know anything about the piece inside this lucite. It's about 1" long by 5/8" dia., looks to be stainless, and has a through-hole that appears to be threaded. The UA 1205 was the SRB for the Titan IIIc. |

Is the hole threaded on both ends or just one? |

A slightly different version of the Apollo 11 Beta cloth display.
Also a version with name engraved.

Do you think both those Apollo beta cloths done by a private individual or company? Noticed both have no company logo on them, just look like the Owen-Corning ones. Do you know the origin? Thanks! |

Not exactly sure of their origin, but they both have the same green felt feet as the Apollo 11 version with the Owens-Corning logo. So that may tell us the lucites were made by the same third-party but intended for different distribution. |

Just to be "accurate", the Mars Rover piece is glass, I believe (not lucite). |

Yes, it's glass and pretty heavy. Some of the others also were glass or crystal.

Really cool 1960's Westinghouse NERVA fuel element lucite, especially with Congress funding a new $125 million program for a nuclear propulsion engine. |
