Does anyone know who supplies NASA currently for flown clothing? Although I suppose in this case that's probably just pants since it seems all the shirts worn seem to be personal preference.

Pants look very practical and usable in my eyes too.

I believe the cargo pants are Cabela's 7-Pocket Hiker Pants (amended with Velcro stripes). Crop from a NASA photo:

Ah, thank you, it looks like you're right. When I looked at that link you provided I noticed those pants use button closed pockets which seemed different but looking at some other large scale ISS pictures I noticed that there are button holes in the pockets, but that the buttons have been removed and replaced with velcro.

I expected it to be something off the shelf but I was thinking it would be from a wholesale uniform supplier like most businesses use, interesting.

And based on recent photos, they also wear Cabela's Last Chance Light-Duty Belt or Last Chance Heavy-Duty Belt.

As for shirts, if they are embroidered, I believe they still source apparel from Lands End.

I've seen a lot of belts in photos, with a lot of variation (nylon, leather, roller buckle, flat bucket, two prong, one prong, etc.). The most interesting though are the number of rigged-up belts using straps, duck tape and such.

So I just started a new job that requires wearing khaki/cargo pants. Ever the space nerd, I thought, "Hey, wouldn't be cool to wear the same style cargo pants as the ISS crew?"

I've been doing some digging and can't seem to figure out what brand/style they are. Anyone know anything about this? To be clear, I'm referring to those you see the most recent crews wearing. i.e Expedition 38.

Editor's note: Threads merged.

As noted above, the recent space station crews' cargo pants are Cabela's brand.

All times are CT (US)
