Does anyone know what the Gordon Cooper Mercury suit and Dave Scott Gemini suit on display at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Debus facility actually are? Are those back-up suits, or possibly flown? If memory serves correct, the signage is not clear on those exhibits. |

The Cooper suit is a Mercury Training suit, on loan from the Air and Space Museum. The Scott suit is not a Gemini suit, but an A1-C, also on loan from NASM.Cathy Lewis ------------------ Cathleen S. Lewis |

I used to enjoy looking at the Cooper suit up close and personal at the Educational Resource Center at KSC until someone "rediscovered" it. | |
