STS-110 Personal Preference Kits (PPKs)

The 13th shuttle flight to the International Space Station, STS-110 delivered the S0 (S-Zero) Truss, the "centerpiece" of the station's exterior framework. Over four spacewalks, the STS-110 crew installed the S0 and the Mobile Transporter, the latter to allow the station's robotic arm to ride along a truss to perform assembly work.

Each member of the STS-110 crew had the option to carry personal items as mementos. The contents of these "Personal Preference Kits" (PPKs) were limited to 20 separate items, weighing no more than 1.5 pounds (0.682 kilograms), and contained within a 5" x 8" x 2" (12.82cm x 20.51cm x 5.13cm) bag provided by NASA. Each item was also required to be allocated for a different recipient and distributed accordingly.
