Looking at Kennedy Space Center today with Google Earth, I noticed two areas with what appear to be squiggly roads.

The areas are west of 39B and east of Kennedy Pkwy. What are these things? Some kind of off-road training tracks?

Those aren't roads.

I'm pretty sure these are revetments where ordnance was stored. They date from the Apollo days and I'm not sure if they are/were still used for ordnance storage into the Shuttle era. But I remember seeing them there in 1973 when I was there for several Skylab launches.

Hope this helps.
