Does anyone remember if Gene Cernan charged additional signature or completion fees at the Burbank show last year? If so, what were the amounts? Thanks! Bruce |

Also keep in mind, Stafford will not sign anything already signed by Young. James |

I just checked on the novaspace website, and as of Sept. 2004 (his last signing there), he charged $180 for a completion or multi-signed items. The Stafford factor also makes it more interesting... |

Because of Cernan's surgery and the pain he was in he decided he didn't want to deal with structured fees so he signed for a flat $75.Charles |

At his appearance at Burbank, Gen. Stafford's appearance was sponsored by AVD/The Space Source, who set the policies for the signing. In the past, Stafford has signed Young-signed pieces for a fee (in part, a donation to his museum in Oklahoma) and may again in the future. Only time and the General will tell. |

First you get Stafford. Then you get Young because it still wouldn't be a completion piece(I assume), and then you get Cernan because his completion rate is the cheapest of the bunch. All you have to do is plan out for every whim an astronauts ever going to have and then get down on your knees and pray that if you plunk down $1000 you can get that crew photo completed. See how easy these astronauts make it! |
