NASA photo number(s) for Apollo 11 photograph?

billewald Member Posts: 89 From: Stafford, VA, USA Registered: Jan 2012	posted 09-18-2014 09:10 AM I have an Apollo 11 vintage photo with Armstrong and Aldrin on the moon. I can't tell what the serial number is. The numbers are kind of blurred but I think one of them is 69-H-1256. Can someone please confirm the serial numbers? Also, I am wondering why are there three serial numbers on this photo? Lastly, if anybody has a fair value for this photo I would appreciate knowing that as well.
J.L Member Posts: 674 From: Bloomington, Illinois, USA Registered: May 2005	posted 09-18-2014 09:27 AM The "H" number is the NASA Headquarters B&W print release ID. (probably 1256). The "HC" number is the NASA Headquarters color print (or 4x5 transparency) release ID. The "S" number is the NASA Manned Spacecraft Center (now JSC) print release ID.
