I don't understand though why this object was asked to be signed though. |

Has happened to me a couple of times - you enclose something as a) a gift or b) as return postage, and you're getting it back with an autograph instead as clearly the signer and/or his secretary did not understand the purpose of the enclosure. |

I also thought it was strange as the stamp block is not space related but it is part of my collection and I love it. |

This is another stamp block in my collection which was signed twice, felt on the edge and ball pen in the middle. Are they both Authentic?

Just my own opinion or 2-cents, but all look fine to me. |

Now this seems to be a bit confusing, it seems that James A. McDivitt might be authentic but Edward H. White II seems to be an autopen. Any suggestions please? |

Both the above signatures of McDivitt and White, that I didn't see before on this topic, are indeed autopen on the GT-4 secondary recovery ship cover. |

The above McDivitt-signed Apollo 9 stamp souvenir sheet looks to be one of the original Sieger offered items. Yes, indeed, the autograph of the Gemini and Apollo pioneer astronaut is certainly authentic. |

They are Sieger's offered items as this collection was of a late German MD and I also hold an original COA of this collectionI am posting another two, a signed stamp and a first day cover, I have doubts on the first day cover as it might be an autopen can you please confirm.

Glad to help out if I can; Yes, the Sieger-provided stamp souvenir sheet does have a genuine Alan L. Bean signature on it. On the other hand, as you called it, the Bean autograph is an autopen on the SL-3 launch postal cover. |

These are the last two autopens that I think I know of in my collection they are of Charles P. Conrad Jr and L. Gordon Cooper Jr.

I think this is authentic but I would like a second opinion about John H. Glenn's souvenir stamp block. |

I have recently purchased four sieger Stamps with their respective so called certificates. They are of Swigert, Roosa, Lovell and Mitchel. My question is that all my set is in Blue ink but these last four I purchased are all in black pen. Also my set has it's certificates on thin stock paper whilst the four I bought are all in thick stock paper. Can anybody explain the difference between these lots? Was there a second run of signatures? |
