I am interested in hearing other cS members opinions on whether it is a positive or negative to add other signatures of Apollo astronauts to the Apollo to the Moon print by Rasmussen such as Aldrin, Collins, Lovell, and all the other Apollo astronauts that are still living.

I have the same question about adding all other living Mercury, Gemini and Apollo astronauts to the Naval Aviation in Space print. I know that the Naval one is really more for just Navy folks.

Does anyone know how much a copy of Apollo to the Moon is valued at?

Also one last question — what about adding Collins and Aldrin to Calle's Neil Armstrong from the 1976 National Air and Space Museum print?

I really want to get a multi-signed astronaut piece and I don't know what the best option is.

If you want to add them for personal reasons then go ahead. If you are doing it to raise the value then I think don't. I have found that only pieces that are crew complete or all Apollo complete etc. actually get the value raised in proportion to what you will spend doing it.

The only full Apollo crews left are 8, 9, 10, 11 and 16. Since Anders, Young, Armstrong and Mattingly are hard/impossible to get that leaves little option.

I have wanted to do the same but I have shied away because of the completion factor. I think it is up to your passion for it.

Do the same rules apply to adding Collins and Aldrin to the Paul Calle signed and numbered Armstrong print?

If you intend to keep the print then I think adding Collins and Aldrin is a good idea.

But if you were intending to sell then some purists may just want Armstong's signature on the print.

In my opinion, more is not always better. I would leave fine art prints as the artist intended them. Calle or Naval Aviation in Space would be marred by additional signatures... Just my opinion.

I have seen a number of the Jim Irwin "his love from the moon" lithos with Scott and Worden added. Again, not to my taste because it is a transparent attempt to manufacture a post mortem "crew photo." I can see why some do it, but it's not something I care for.
