If your question is - did this support the Apollo program? Possibly.

A Block I CM component? Absolutely not.

What do you guys think about the authenticity of this piece? eBay item #180653935344

Does anyone know what happened to the remains of Apollo 1 after the fire?

The capsule and its components are stored in an environmentally-controlled warehouse at NASA's Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia.

Sounds like BS to me. As far as I've read, nothing from the spacecraft was officially "scrapped" after the fire and most of the pieces that were removed, were put back into the spacecraft.

In my opinion, this is bogus.

I have one of these. It is GSE (ground support equipment). As the name implies, it shifts signal (phasing) by a variable amount (up to 180 or 360). JPL issue.

All times are CT (US)
