I was presented an achievement award, a NASA collar, a piece of the gold foil mylar from the Apollo XI Command Module, and a medallion. What the value, would like to auction these items.

You may want to post photos to help others decide about your question. Also, a search on eBay for completed auctions of similar items may be useful. Finally you could consult past space memorabilia auctions. Good luck!

Also do you know if the kapton (gold) foil was trimmed before flight or was it removed after flight.

The piece of gold foil mylar from the Apollo XI Command Module that I have was removed from the module by the research and development department after it had returned from the space flight; and, put on display at our Downey facility.

I was an HR employee at North America Rockwell, Downey, California at the time; a few of were honored by being awarded these artifacts.

Thanks for the suggestions.
