I'm new to this forum and hope your kind community can help me. I'm a huge Tomcat-fanboy and only recently learned of the sad passing of Robert (Bob) K. Smyth, Grumman test pilot and along Bill Miller the first to fly the F-14 in 1970.

I would have loved him to sign a photo of the Tomcat for me. Is there any chance somebody around her might own and would be willing to sell an autograph of Bob Smyth (preferably on a shot of the mighty Tomcat) to me?

If not, maybe anybody has a good idea or advice where else to turn to?

Many thanks in advance!

First off, many thanks to Al (Albatron) for the great service. I really appreciate it, a great deal!

But... No one else there to help out?

Like you, I got mine through Al. From my experience, he is THE go-to guy for test pilots. Others might have some, but then they'd have to want to sell.

Woo-hooo,both shots arrived safe and sound and boy, am I happy with them!

Many thanks once again to Al, Gerry and JL.

That is a dream come true! Now I have ALL!!!! flights of the first Tomcat covered with two autographs! of the man himself. This is so much more than I was originally hoping for! Many many thanks again!

I still need to properly frame them and I want to do a depiction of the first Tomcat too going with the photographs but for the moment this Tomcat will have to do.
