Three decades ago, astronauts John Young and Robert Crippen launched STS-1 space shuttle Columbia from Kennedy Space Center. Since then, the Space Shuttle Program has transformed the way we explore space and look at the universe around us. From the construction and completion of the International Space Station to the amazing imagery captured by the Hubble Space Telescope, this reusable spacecraft has made world-renowned accomplishments.
