We met last year in Mount Dora with Story.
Hubby and myself are making plans to find a flight from the Isle of Man. UK, Cannot wait, this is very exciting being able to meet more of our heroes from space.
Is anyone going from the UK-perhaps we can meet up.This is a really great opportunity for us to meet up with other collectors from all over the world. looking forward, hurry up May.

Cheers Brenda! Yes wasn't the Story event a grand one? It was a lot of fun and it was a pleasure meeting you and your husband there.

Im glad you are coming for the event, it will be a lot of fun. Now just dont try and tell the pilot how to fly. ;0)

I know John Masters from the London area is coming - as is Rex Hall. Both are involved with the show. Hopefully a lot more from over the pond will come too.

Best,

Al

To Brenda and all the UK contingent, look forward to puting a few names to faces those of you who are going over in May. For those of you not decided yet what more could you want with one of the biggest gatherings of astronauts and aviation legends, keep watching the website, but also the famous Florida Sun and hospitality...can't be beaten.

I'm slightly biased but for an inaugral show I'm impressed with the amount of top flight, if you excuse the pun, guests Al Steve and Rex have managed to put together.

Steve if you read this look forward to meeting up with you.

Come on all the UK members its gotta be done get you're flip flops, cozzies and your Nasa Lithos and glossies out the cupboards and get over in May...

Nope I'm not on comission just cant wait to get over there..

Best to all

john (I'm packed already) :-)

If anyone is going and would be willing to help me out with a few signatures, please let me know. I can't make the event because I am going to the Hall of Fame Inductions.

Has anyone got any suggestions as to who else they'd like to see at the show.

Helen Sharman perhaps for all us Brits

Hi John,
Think you have a good idea there-suggesting
former or active astronauts to appear at the Air and Space Show in May, Helen Sharman- for the ladies-yes. I personally would go for 2-Mission Specialists-which are- Piers Sellers, born in Crowborough,Sussex. [He did research into the Atmonsphere and Biosphere whilst on STS 112 in Oct.2002, I was in Florida at the time-not at KSC but near. my other choice would be the other Mission Specialist-who at the moment is enjoying life up there in the International Space Station. Michael Foale, if only-there was some way to get him down----------he certainly has been up there a long while, would be great- to chat to him-finding out how life is like living in space.- in the ISS. Do you agree- John
He also went to the Russian Space Station-MIR. Michael comes from Louth,Lincs.
Cannot think of any other British- my mind has gone a blank- too busy thinking about May-not long to go now, Hubby and myself are flying off to Orlando on either 19th or 20th May from the island, get a Virgin Flight from Gatwick the same day, any idea when you are going?
Hasnt Al done very well, also Steve, glad to hear you are helping out- hope everything goes well for you,
Nice to chat-look forward to meeting you,
Hope the weekend-we dont get the Florida
Thunderstorms, we have experieced these, when it rains, a lot different to the UK.
{Keep your fingers crossed} wonder how many
listed on cs-will be there from the UK
cheers-John.
