Starchaser Industries, Manchester UK, are to have two Open Days this month.
The Open Days will be held on Sunday & Monday 24th and 25th August.
Hours of opening will be 10 a.m till 6 p.m. last admission 5 p.m.

Admission: Adults £3.00, Child £2.50,
Student £2.50 Family 2x2 £8.00, Club members FREE.
All admission fees will be refunded if you join the Starchaser club on the day.

On show will be:

Nova 2 Capsule...returned from the USA.
Britains first manned capsule..recently achieved 2 successful drops in the USA., from 10,000 above the Red lake test area Arizona.

See the monster Nova/Starchaser 4 Rocket.
meet the team that built, and flew her.

Starchaser 2 has come home !!- After 5 years in the Manchester Museum of Science and industry...Starchaser 2 has been returned to its home at the factory.

See hardware that is putting Britain back into the space race.

Meet Steve Bennett and the rest of the team.

Presentations and film shows throughtout the day.

Official memorabilia and souvenirs available.
Rocket models kits, pens, posters, clothing etc.

For the children:

Launch your own paper rockets..
Drive the robotic micro rover on a simulated Martian surface.

I will be attending Bank Holiday Monday with a selection of memorabilia from my collection.

I will be along this time Andrew :-))

Last time,I got to Hyde Ok but noone seemed to know where it was :-((
I didn't have any M/Cr maps on me and had another engagement to go to - so had to give up.

BUT, this time,I am prepared - have the AZ maps and know where I'm coming to .

It may be Monday but I will get there.

You will enjoy it Phill,
I was there with the family at the June open day it was great day out.Took us a couple of Hrs drive as we were stuck in Rd works traffic on the A50 from Burton,Also finaly met up with Andrew C.

Glad your going to pop in to the Open Day.
I have been trying to mail you but havent had a reply.
I will only be attending the Monday Open Day myself...so I`ll see you there.
I`m sorry you didnt make it there last time.
I will mention to the team that you are attending...
The website has a map if you are still stuck with the location of the factory.
The phone number is also listed on the website of course ring me if your stuck on the day.

I will be coming Sunday morning instead now because of several VIP events that have materialised in last 24 hours and - also - their is a major book sale going on which my wife wants to attend on Monday - so I have to go too - SHE HAS SPOKEN !

Had a great morning - excellent

Very impressed withthe rocket motor developments - especially the hybrid development. If they can perfect and develop larger - they have a winner there.

The liquid motors were just as impressive and I wish both Lead Officers (for want of a phrase) success in their developments on these.

I'll be back............
