I am curious as to which order of precedence are NASA awards and medals worn?

I know that the Congressional Space Medal of Honor is the highest award awarded to astronauts.

What order are NASA ribbons/medals worn and are they allowed to be worn on military uniforms and do they go above or below military awards?

I found this 2007 post while trying to research this very question online. The only resource I could find was a 2010 NASA document that "suggested" a precedence. It also split out the Bravery and Space Flight medals from the rest as "specialty" as follows:
  1. Congressional Space Medal of Honor
  2. Distinguished Service Medal
  3. Distinguished Public Service Medal
  4. Outstanding Leadership Medal
  5. Exceptional Service Medal
  6. Exceptional Public Service Medal
  7. Exceptional Engineering Achievement Medal
  8. Exceptional Scientific Achievement Medal
  9. Exceptional Technology Achievement Medal
  10. Exceptional Achievement Medal
  11. Equal Employment Opportunity Medal
  12. Exceptional Administrative Achievement Medal
Specialty
  • Exceptional Bravery Medal
  • Space Flight Medal
Still, this list made more sense than the order of the NASA medals I found on Wikipedia (which, to be fair, did not claim they were listed by precedence there); so I have conformed the Wikipedia list to the list above.

Now I'm wondering whether anyone might have an authoritative reference handy of US military medals which might have a recognized order of precedence for NASA medals? If so, please post here or e-mail me directly.

Thanks!

(When worn on US military uniforms, military decorations take precedence over NASA decorations.)

I notice that once in a while someone will put up NASA Ribbons on eBay. Is that legal?

I have found a reference, The Call Of Duty by James Bender and John E. Strandberg (2005), which gives the following precedence for NASA Medals:
  1. Congressional Space Medal of Honor
  2. Distinguished Service Medal
    Distinguished Public Service Medal
  3. Outstanding Leadership Medal
    Outstanding Service Medal (obsolete)
    Exceptional Achievement Medal
    Exceptional Service Medal
  4. Exceptional Scientific Achievement Medal
    Exceptional Engineering Achievement Medal
    Exceptional Technology Achievement Medal
    Exceptional Administrative Achievement Medal
    Equal Employment Opportunity Medal
  5. Exceptional Bravery Medal
  6. Exceptional Public Service Medal
  7. Space Flight Medal
