Jim Key, who recently shut down his modeling firm, has a prototype of a 1/12 Gemini capsule that he is offering for sale. Would there be any interest in a 1/12 Gemini among us here on collectSPACE assuming the final kit cost would be between $800 and $1000 dollars?

Just getting it geared for production will cost close to $10,000. If there were 30 or so people willing to crowdfund this with an initial cost of maybe $300 and pay the rest of the kit cost when it is produced we might persuade him to produce this.

I know I have his F-1 Saturn V engine and it is gorgeous. I also have the 1/12 Mercury from Atomic City and I would love to match that with a Gemini! Shoot an email to customreplicas@ca.rr.com if you would be interested. Time is short though — we need to do this in a week!
