Why do you continue to conflate most expensive with most significant (or "Top" as you define it)?

Don't forget the covers Charlie Duke took (PDF) to the lunar surface. They even were exposed to the vacuum of the moon during moon-walks.

While these wiki pages are interesting, the data is just one view. As I see it there are many flaws to this approach:
It does not include items owned by the Smithsonian NASM which has first right on all items.
It does not include items donated by astronauts to other museums.
It only includes public auction data and not private sales.
As Scott says above, it uses auction sales price to determine order in the list. Because of that, it skews towards souvenirs and trinkets commonly sold at auction like flags and medallions rather than astronaut used hardware critical to the mission.
