Section Two: Astronaut Artifacts
American Flag Flown on Apollo 15 with astronaut Al Worden

This American Flag was carried to the Moon on the fourth manned lunar landing mission, Apollo 15.
Measuring approximately 4x6", this nylon flag was among the mementos stowed aboard command module Endeavor by its pilot, Al Worden. Launched on July 26, 1971, Apollo 15 orbited the moon 74 times over the course of 145 hours before returning to Earth on August 7.
Donated from his personal collection, Worden inscribed the flag "Flown the Moon on Apollo 15, Alfred M. Worden". The flag is attached to a signed certificate of authenticity. It will ship to the winning bidder handsomely framed.
