The tape was offered for $98.95 and the seller accepted a best offer on Feb. 18, 2024 for $75 (plus $11.75 shipping).

This is a big deal. NBC back then was not very good at all about retaining footage, and I'd believed we would never see these moments as they actually aired. Now we can, and what an interesting contrast to the CBS and ABC footage. I'm glad this was discovered and I'm glad we can all watch this. What a gift.
