"The Reason I Went to Space" ("僕が宇宙に行った理由") is a new Japanese documentary that follows businessman Yusaku Maezawa's 12-day journey into space in December 2021. The film opens in Japan on Friday, Dec. 29, 2023.
Why did he aim for space, even quitting the company he spent over 20 years developing? There was a passionate feeling that remained unchanged from 14 years ago.
Dedicated to everyone who has a dream.

A page in Japanese suggests that at one point, perhaps only in Japan, it was available on Prime Video and Hulu, but neither service today (in the U.S.) lists it as among their catalogs.
There is (at current) a listing for a Blu-ray copy of the documentary on eBay.

Thanks! Looks like it is still streamable through Amazon Japan with Prime membership.
