"1963. время, вперед!," a biopic movie about Valentina Tereshkova has been announced, and commenced shooting in Moscow. The director is Sasha Paracels.
The shooting of the short film "1963. Time Forward!" on preparations for space flight by Valentina Tereshkova. The picture will also become a teaser for the future series based on it, the press service of the project reports.

The action takes place in 1963. In the center of the plot is the leading instructor of the Cosmonaut Training Center, responsible for sending the first female cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova into low Earth orbit. Against the backdrop of preparations for the flight, a number of unexpected and funny situations occur that change the lives of the heroes.

Valentina Tereshkova is played by Russian rhythmic gymnast, 2012 Olympic champion in group all-around Uliana Donskova.

"When creating the film, we wanted to remind the viewer of the vital need to be able to dream. Our film is about the sixties, a unique era of dreamers. It is fantasies, hopes that set a person free. They allow him to take new heights and even conquer space," said Paracels.

The project consultant is Alexander Glushko, one of the leading experts on the history of Soviet manned cosmonautics in the world, the son of the general designer, academician Valentin Glushko. In addition, twice Hero of the Soviet Union, General Designer of RSC Energia Vladimir Solovyov and members of the first female cosmonaut corps Irina Solovyova and Valentina Ponomareva help with the creation of the film.
