I am looking for recovery audio, film or TV footage of the Mercury Atlas 8 recovery.

I want to synchronize this with an amateur 8mm recording of the recovery I am working on for publishing on YouTube. Where possible I would like to sync audio and other film and video sources.

Does Spacecraft Films' Mercury DVD collection has any MA-8 recovery footage, preferable with audio? Was there a TV broadcast and do any recordings of this exist?

I do have some audio of the splashdown and recovery. It's quite rough, as it was broadcast live from the recovery ship. From memory, I believe it was Herb Kaplow doing the commentary.
