I highly recommend the Extended Edition 2 disc version of "Apollo Atmospheres and Soundtracks" by Brian Eno with Daniel Lanois and Roger Eno. Any fan of Al Reinert's film "For All Mankind" will enjoy this extended edition CD.

AA&S is arguably the best ambient music CD ever made. If you have the original CD/vinyl which includes excellent "An Ending (Ascent)" "Weightless" and "Signals", the new For All Mankind CD is a worthy addition. Standouts for me are "The End of a Thin Cord", "At the Foot of the Ladder", "Waking Up" and "Like I Was a Spectator". The booklet is very well done with images from the Apollo missions: the cover photo with the strange lunar surface features is from Apollo 14, according to the liner notes.

The CD is dedicated to the memory of Al Reinert.
