Microsoft partnered with Epic Games and Industrial Light & Magic chief creative officer John Knoll and "A Man on the Moon" author Andrew Chaikin for a demo of its Hololens 2 headset that aimed to recreate the Apollo 11 moon landing in mixed reality. The keynote presentation did not go as planned, but a rehearsal was recorded.

The Lunar Module re-creation, as well as Neil Armstrong coming down the ladder were especially well-done. The LM was as accurate a depiction as I've ever seen.
