Thank you Robert for the kind writeup and Rich for inspiring this archive during our work on Marketing the Moon. It was a heck of a lot of work to digitize these press kits (thanks to several interns for doing the bulk of the work). I'm happy that the material is out there for people to enjoy. I'm always on the lookout for any Apollo 11 press kits I don't have so anyone reading this who has one, please let me know! |

David, a wonderful site, really appreciate you putting it together. Also, thank you for including the Dow Chemicals kit, photos and press release information. Dow's involvement with Avco on the Apollo heatshield materials (specifically DEN 438) is important to document. |

It is my pleasure to make this information available. It's interesting how people have favorites - like Omega and Dow! |

David, are you able to track download statistics for the site? It might be interesting after a period of time (maybe by the anniversary in July) to learn which press kits were most popular. |

Interesting idea, Robert. I built the site on the HubSpot platform (I am an advisor to the company) and there is tons of data available. I am looking at my data now for the past 24 hours since launch and people spend an average of 4 minutes on the press kits page. FOUR MINUTES! That's an eternity for websites. |

Very nice! I have been attempting to do the same thing for Apollo 8. |

This is incredible, David. Not only an incredible collection, but incredibly generous of you to take all the time that went into building the site, compiling the scans, and everything else (and my thanks to the folks who helped you with it, too). You have provided us all a great service with this. Thank you very much! |
