For those who are interested, the last latest episode of the Smithsonian Channel's Air Disasters covers the 1991 crash of Atlantic Southeast Airlines Flight 2311. This is the crash that killed astronaut Sonny Carter (along with former US Senator John Tower.

Astronaut Fred Gregory also makes a brief interview appearance to talk about his friendship with Sonny Carter.

If you have access to the Smithsonian Channel, episodes are regularly repeated. The episode in question is called "Steep Impact."

All times are CT (US)
