CNN on Thursday (March 31) aired the premiere of its seven-part documentary series, "The Eighties."
From Emmy Award-winning producers Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman in association with HBO and Emmy Award-winning producer Mark Herzog, "The Eighties" explores the individuals and events that shaped a decade of exceptionalism and excess.
Frank Buzzard, the former chief engineer for the space shuttle and the International Space Station, was interviewed for the series:
Subject was Space Shuttle and the impact of technology on the 1980s. Astronaut Dick Covey will also be on.
The Space Shuttle and Technology episode is scheduled to air on Thursday, April 28 at 9 p.m. EDT.
