"The Space Shuttle: Flying for Me" is a new one and a half hour American Public Television documentary by producer Tim Weeks that celebrates 30 years of NASA achievements with the space shuttle program.
Commanders, mission specialists and key support members recount the triumphs and the tragedies of the program during its storied history.
The program will premiere in June as part of a PBS pledge event. Houston station KUHT (channel 8) will air the program on June 4 at 8:30 p.m. CDT.
(Check your local listings for other PBS station air times.)

This is very interesting. In 1999 I produced a short documentary in broadcasting school called "Challenger: Flying for Me." Then last year in July of 2013, I indicated on my Facebook page that I was revisiting the documentary and reediting it because the VHS tape I had the original film on fell apart. Now all of a sudden, after announcing my project, this new documentary very close in name to my own short film is being aired on PBS? I thank my friends on Facebook for bringing this film to my attention.
