Obtained an autographed copy at the Cradle of Aviation Museum last month.

Tip of the hat for an enjoyable book. The inclusion of family and friend comments sliced into the narrative provided an interesting perspective that is not usually added. Though it would have changed the nature of the book, I only wish that there had been another 200 or 300 pages. At 30 to 40 pages per mission, that would not have been too difficult.

Spacewalker: My Journey in Space and Faith as NASA's Record-Setting Frequent Flyer recently received two recognitions at the American Library Association meeting held in Las Vegas.

Ross' autobiography received an "Outstanding" rating from a large committee of librarians and it was chosen as one of just eleven titles "Best of the Best from University Presses" (2013 titles only).

The "Best of the Best" program offers librarians an opportunity to share their book recommendations with their colleagues, while recognizing the contributions that university press books make to both public and secondary school libraries.

Also, for our French readers, Purdue University Press has reached an agreement with French publisher Altipresse to translate and publish "Spacewalker" in French, to be released in 2015 in France.

Thanks for that update. The book surely deserves this, I think a copy should be in every school's library...

I found a signed copy of this one for $3 at the local used bookstore. Seemed like a great deal!
