As a kid, I got the four foot model of the Saturn V Launch Vehicle. In the box was a form to send to Revell Models to get a 45 sized record called Moonlighter. It played at 33 1/3 rpm. I still have it. It is worn because I played it a lot, but it doesn't skip and plays through. I recorded it digitally and cleaned up as much of it as I could. I then searched the web to find pictures and movies that I could edit to go along with the audio. This is the result. I posted this on YouTube a while ago and has gotten a lot of hits... some good, some bad. But for anyone who had the record and since lost it and wants to hear it again, here it is.

I spent many a days in the family play room playing this record on my little portable record player while moving my Revell model of the LEM to match the sound. For those ten minutes... I was with them on the moon.

Really nice job, thanks for sharing this and excellent job on the visuals! I never had that record but did play the National Geographic flexible one over and over.

All times are CT (US)
