The magazine XXL has an interesting photo shoot of rap artist Lil Wayne on the cover and additional photos inside. The photos are of Lil Wayne in a space suit on the surface of the moon (studio style.) The space suit is more of a shuttle EVA suit than a moon suit. It was a nice surprise to see this type of 'space' placement in a magazine of this kind of genre and it's intended target audience. I didn't read the article so I am not sure if the artist has an interest in space or if the shoot was inspired else where. |

From this interview (also on YouTube) with the editor, it seems the magazine was looking for a new way to present Lil Wayne, who had appeared numerous times on the magazine's cover. The video does however, mention that after he had the suit on, Lil Wayne got into wearing it, doing the moonwalk despite his dreads getting tangled in the helmet. |

The top and bottom parts are not attached with one another? He'll have to reconsider his haircut as well. Again, Chris. |

I believe they purposely configured the suit so as to mimic urban-style 'sagging' pants. | |
