I finally got my copy of the soundtrack to "In The Shadow Of The Moon" from Amazon today. If you enjoyed the Brian Eno album "Apollo" you will enjoy this album. I has 24 short classical pieces that are all entitled after mission phases or specific happenings, such as "Crawler", "Eve of Launch", "The Eagle Has Wings" and "Raising The Flag" etc. I personally haven't seen the documentary yet, but can already imagine the feeling it must convey just by listening to the wonderful soundtrack. Well worth the money....Adam P.S. Ed H, I don't know if you are aware of this but one of the shots in the liner notes is your Eagle composite image, but all are credited to NASA. Did you transfer ownership of it to them? |

I see that they are taking orders for the movie DVD for February delivery [for those of us who live in the sticks and didn't get to see it]

I got this as a Christmas present, and there are some nice notes from the composer in there about how the moon voyages inspired the music - nicely written. |

I only just read Adam's note from over two years ago! I can be a little slow sometimes...They probably took the image off the Apollo Lunar Surface Journal. Of course they should have asked me first | |
