As a celebration of the forthcoming book by myself and Colin Burgess, Into That Silent Sea, I just received a very nice gift - a specially-commissioned textile piece by noted artist Janet Bolton (www.janetbolton.com), called 'The Silent Sea'. It's a beautiful piece - and making it even more special is the inclusion of orange threads of the flown Soyuz TMA-3 parachute, which were from a small rip on one of the cellphone holders that Robert sells. I'm extremely touched by this gift, which of course is going to be framed on the wall. [Edited by FFrench (December 27, 2006).] |

Francis: as co-author, which 50 percent of this piece do I get? All kidding aside, that's a terrific and very appropriate (and well deserved) work of art. Colin |
