I've mailed the Group 17 Astronauts a few months ago, and have got back several ISP's, including one who included an extra for my Granddaugter even though I didn't ask for. They seem to be taking at least 6 weeks, and continue to get nice personaized responses periodically icluding Dr. Stanley Love today. As many have noted, its a thrill to see that brown NASA envelope. I thought timing was neat as I recieived the day Mars Rover Spirit is set to land. Perhaps this is good Karma for Dr. Stanley, who is a PhD is Astronomy, with a very impressive set of credits in Astronomical work at NASA and elsewhere. Perhaps this means he'll be on the crew to Mars, or at least principally involved in preparations for exploring our Red neighbor. Good luck/Good fortune to Group 17; your time in the Sun (or Mars) is coming. | |
