Max Ary is stepping down as director of the Stafford Air and Space Museum in Weatherford, Oklahoma.
After 56 years in the space museum business, nearly all in a Director or President's position, I need to start slowing down! I will stay in some form of emeritus position to allow me to keep designing the many new exhibits to go into all of the new areas of the museum, so I will still be deeply associated with this incredible museum.
The city of Weatherford has posted a job description and is accepting applications online.
