Does anyone have, or has anyone seen, maps/diagrams of the space exhibits at the U.S. and USSR pavilions at Expo '67 in Montreal? I recently found some old snapshots I took there, but don't remember the actual layouts. |

There is also a film about the US pavilion and some amateur photos including the US pavilion space artifacts. And some more film and photos and here. |

The spacecraft on display included Freedom 7, Gemini 7 and a flown Apollo capsule. I believe it was the AS-202 command module. I remember those three open parachutes in the huge geodesic dome that was the U.S. pavilion.Expo 67 was quite impressive. I went there many times. That was a great summer.

Thanks to both of you.I have a good idea of the space exhibit layout of the U.S. Pavillion now, except I don't know where the inflated Gemini flotation collar that visitors could sign was located. I believe it was on the level with the lunar display, but tucked underneath one of the stairways. Anyone recall if this is correct? |
