Robert Overmyer Ohio Historical Marker The Westlake Historical Society will honor Robert Overmyer with an Ohio Historical Marker. The Marker dedication is this Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014. Please join the Westlake Historical Society members, friends and guests for the dedication ceremony of the Col. Robert Overmyer Ohio Historical Marker. The dedication will take place at noon in Clague Memorial Park by the Pond Gazebo. There will be a reception following at the Clague Cabin within the park. According to the Westlake Bay Village Observer, NASA's Glenn Research Center director James Free will be among the speakers at the dedication ceremony.

Registered: Jul 2005	posted 08-25-2014 06:52 AM I had the opportunity to attend the dedication ceremony for Bob Overmyer's historical plaque and thought I'd share some photos of the event and plaque. It was a really nice ceremony, and Bob's widow Kit flew up for the event.
