I was going through a "junk drawer" of miscellaneous collectibles the other day, and came across these mixed drink table placards from Bernard's Surf in Cocoa Beach. They look like they're from the 1960s. You certainly don't see many mixed drinks for 4 people, or ones containing beef bouillon, these days! And there are certainly no mixed drinks for $1.25 anywhere nowadays.

With drinks like these - and these at the ready, our space heroes probably looked at RP-1 and hypergolic fuels as an afterthought.
