Just reading other posts, there seems to be a few flight ready Apollo command modules now on display, including: - Skylab rescue command module at Kennedy Space Center;
- the one on the full stack at Johnson Space Center.
Are there others that just never quite made it to space? |

There's also an unused CSM at the National Air and Space Museum.I don't know how "flight-ready" the CSM at NASM or JSC are. As I recall, the JSC spacecraft (115A) was in the final stages of assembly when funding was cut. The NASM one is listed as having been used in acoustic tests, so I don't know if it was ever "flight-ready". Whenever I wonder about the current location of 60s Space Race hardware, I always go to the Field Guide to American Spacecraft. Not only do I find it an invaluable reference, it's also a handy vacation planner. |
