This photo was taken in November 2008 at Cape Canaveral during an airshow sponsored by the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation. One of the wives had the idea of a group photo and the whole thing turned to chaos, because a bunch of attendees also wanted a picture of these legends. In the end it turned out OK, but not the well posed photo she wanted. Left to right are Scott, Stafford, Duke, Brand, Lovell, Aldrin (with McBride behind him), Mitchell, Worden, Hartsfield. Kneeling Carpenter and Cunningham. (Photo provided by Mel Croft)

A lovely picture and to think I have been fortunate enough to meet all of them except Hartsfield and McBride.

I was there! I was right in front of them and I was incredulous of the great gift that was given to us. It was a beautiful event, with a lunch and many other things. I have a lot of pictures and memories.
