Air Force pilot Major Robert M. White poses for a 'right stuff' portrait in front of the North American X-15 hypersonic research aircraft at the Flight Research Center in California on November 19, 1959. White made 16 flights in the X-15 between April 1960 and December 1962.

Nice photo, but I was going to say that I like it when, like here, I have seen one of Ed's pictures already. Makes me feel just a little less behind in my knowledge. It doesn't happen often.
