Expedition 10 flight engineer Salizhan Sharipov participates in the second of two EVAs performed by the crew during their six-month mission. Sharipov and ISS commander Leroy Chiao (out of frame) spent over four hours outside the International Space Station on March 28, 2005, installing navigational and communications equipment for the arrival of the first Automated Transfer Vehicle cargo craft. Sharipov also deployed an 11-pound Russian nanosatellite.
