Apollo 12 command module pilot Dick Gordon signs his name on the side of command module 108 in the Lunar Receiving Laboratory after the flight. The text reads: "Yankee Clipper Sailed With Intrepid to The Ocean Of Storms, Moon November 14, 1969."

There is an almost identical message written inside the command module around the FDAI on the main display console, including the crew signatures. It is mentioned at 224:43:09 in the transcripts.

The pen Dick is using looks like a paintbrush. I wonder if Al used that to start his career as an artist.
