Astronaut Charlie Duke took this photo of Stu Roosa and Jim Lovell during a 48-hour flotation test of Apollo command module 007A in the Gulf of Mexico in April 1968.

Lovell was assigned to Apollo 11 (CMP) at that time of this test.

Actually at that time Lovell was assigned to the Apollo 9 (E Mission) backup crew with Armstrong and Aldrin. Prime crew Borman, Collins and Anders.
