 This view of Launch Pads 39A and 39B was made by STS-31 mission specialist Kathy Sullivan from a T-38 trainer as the crew flew into KSC on April 22, 1990. In the foreground, Discovery is poised on Pad B for STS-31 and in the distance Columbia rolls out to Pad A for STS-35. Sullivan flew with STS-31 pilot Charlie Bolden, while commander Loren Shriver and mission specialist Steve Hawley flew alongside in T-38 #918. Mission specialist Bruce McCandless and astronaut Mario Runco flew in T-38 #907. |

I agree. This is great stuff, not only because of the pictures but because there's also a description surrounding that particular photo. |
